Caffè Mauro De Luxe whole coffee beans are a distinctive blend from the respected roaster Caffè Mauro, whose roots date back to 1949 in the Italian region of Calabria. Founded by visionary Demetrio Mauro, this family-run business has grown from a small local company to a global player in the coffee industry, all while maintaining its passion for quality and authenticity.

The De Luxe blend is a carefully crafted composition of 70% finest Arabica beans and 30% Robusta beans, resulting in a deep and complex flavour profile that represents Caffè Mauro's core values. It is composed of beans from Brazil, Colombia, El Salvador, Honduras and India, grown at altitudes between 900 and 1300 metres. This blend offers rich notes of chocolate, nuts and caramel, complemented by a pleasant acidity and a noticeable aftertaste. Its fruity-floral flavour is enhanced by spicy and chocolatey notes, resulting in a delicious espresso experience.

The blend offers a powerful taste experience thanks to a medium roasting process, which also brings out the natural characteristics of the beans. The fantastic Brazilian Arabica beans, known for being a perfect base for blends, combined with the best Asian Robusta beans, give the coffee notes of chocolate and spice. A bouquet of fruit and sweetness, as well as a slight hint of acidity, comes from the high proportion of fragrant Costa Rican and Salvadoran Arabica beans, which comprise a total of five different Arabica varieties.
