Medium roast coffee

For roasting medium roast coffee, Arabica beans are usually preferred, as they tend to have a more complex and nuanced flavour profile compared to Robusta beans. Arabica beans provide an ideal foundation for creating the subtle flavour nuances that are desirable in a medium roast coffee. It is not uncommon to find pure Arabica blends, but some manufacturers may include a small amount of Robusta to add some body and intensity to the flavour. A typical blend can vary, but a high proportion of Arabica, such as 80-100%, is most common for medium roast coffee. This type of coffee is therefore appreciated for its versatility and ability to offer a well-balanced and enjoyable coffee experience, regardless of brewing method or personal taste preferences.
